    Strawberry White Chocolate Trifle, the ultimate dessert! Layers of strawberries pie filling, white chocolate mouse, cookies and whipped cream, so good!





    Ever need a dessert and just don't have time to bake?  Or the weather is 95° degrees out and the last thing you wanna do is turn on the oven?  Then whip up a delicious Strawberry White Chocolate Trifle!  Trust me, you're gonna love how easy and yummy this dessert is.
    Now you're probably thinking "trifle",  isn't that a layered dessert in a large glass dish?  Sure, it can be. But you can also make it in individual dishes, which is what I did. However you choose to make this dessert, it'll turn out fabulously!  Begin with a layer of Strawberry Pie Filling, next a luscious layer of white chocolate mousse, some delectable sugar cookies, more pie filling and a dollop of whipped cream..go ahead, wipe that drool from your face!

    Strawberry White Chocolate Trifle
    Prep Time 25 minutes Total Time 25 minutes
    Ingredients

    White Chocolate Mousse:

    • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
    • 4 T sugar
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 6 oz white baking chocolate, melted


    Trifle Ingredients:

    • 2 cans (21 oz) Lucky Leaf® Premium Strawberry Pie Filling
    • 25 sugar cookies, broken
    • 1 batch white chocolate mousse
    • 8 oz whipped topping


    Instructions

    • To make mousse, beat whipped cream in a bowl until it thickens. Gradually add in sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
    • In another bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add chocolate and beat until smooth. Fold in whipped cream mixture.
    • Assemble trifle by layering pie filling, broken sugar cookies, white chocolate mousse, and whipped topping in trifle bowl. Top with dollops of whipped cream. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Can be also made in individual trifle dishes for single servings.
