    Slow Cooker White Mint Hot Chocolate is so easy to make homemade hot cocoa. Set it out for a snowy day or a hot cocoa bar! Great beverage for the holidays!





    I used to really dread making homemade hot cocoa.I thought it would be super hard and I was like I don't need it. Then I discovered that you can make hot cocoa in the slow cooker. That my friends is life changing! So I have been whipping up hot chocolate for my family in my slow cooker, making everyone so happy.then I was like - wait my kids LOVE mint. And the Slow Cooker White Mint Hot Chocolate was born.

    In your slow cooker? You don't have to worry about burning the chocolate (you guys I'm always burning the chocolate). Wait let me quick say if you keep the slow cooker on low you don't have to worry about burning the chocolate 🙂
    This recipe was so incredibly easy and it was so incredibly delicious. You're going to love love love it! Plus what's so amazing about using your slow cooker is that you can keep the hot cocoa hot for a long time. You don't have to hurry up and serve and drink! Set it out Slow Cooker White Mint Hot Chocolate for a hot cocoa bar at Christmas or have the kids friends over on a fun snowy day and have it waiting after they come inside from building their snowman. The possibilities of when and how to serve it are unending!
    One more hint??? You guys if you don't like mint - just don't add it - the recipe will still be awesome!!!!

    Slow Cooker White Mint Hot Chocolate

    Ingredients

    • 2 C White Chocolate Chips
    • 5 C Milk
    • 2 C Heavy Whipping Cream
    • 2 tsp Peppermint Extract
    • Crushed Candy Canes (optional)
    • Whipped Cream (optional)


    Instructions

    • Place chips, milk, cream and extract into slow cooker
    • Cook on low for 2-3 hours stirring every half hour or so
    • Serve in mugs topped with Whipped Cream and Crushed Candy Canes
